Girls Varsity Volleyball · Lady Titans Varsity Volleyball Team Crowned Region 4-AAAAAA Champions For The Second Straight Year

On Saturday, October 12, the Lady Titans defeated Tucker in the championship game for the GHSA Region 4-AAAAAA championship. To advance to the championship game, the Lady Titans began their quest on the road to the championship on Thursday, October 10 in the first round,  which they defeated Mt. Zion. Then on Saturday, October 12th, the Lady Titans defeated MLK 2-0, then defeated Morrow 2-0, and finally defeated Tucker 2-0 and were crowned the champions. With the win, the Lady Titans advanced to the GHSA State Volleyball Tournament as the No. 1 seed in Region 4 for the second straight year.

Region 4-AAAAAA tournament participants were Drew, Forest Park, Lovejoy, MLK, Morrow, Mt. Zion, Mundy’s Mill, Stephenson, and Tucker. In addition to the Lady Titans advancing to the state tournament, also advancing are Tucker (#2 seed – Region 4-AAAAAA), Morrow (#3 seed – Region 4-AAAAAA), and Mundy’s Mill (#4 seed – Region 4-AAAAAA).

On Saturday, October 19th, the Lady Titans (Region 4, Team 1) will host the first round game, with their opponent being Brunswick (Region 2, Team 4). The four-team first round games at Drew High School will also include Allatoona (Region 6, Team 2) vs. Habersham Central (Region 8, Team 3). Game times to be determined.
